A total of 389 peaks unique to Z. caribaeum were detected, the 24 most abundant peaks were assigned to compounds belonging to seven different chemical classes: amino acid, carboxylic acid, dicarboxylic acid, fatty acid, monoglyceride, phenolic, phenolic, and sugar.
