Note: Cat = A description of a single picture, in which a cat is being rescued from a tree; Cinderella = retelling of the fictional narrative Cinderella, which is done after looking at a wordless picture book; Flood = A description of a single picture of a rescue during a flood; Important Event = a personal narrative about an important event; Sandwich = a procedural narrative describing how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich; Stroke or Recovery = A personal narrative about one’s brain injury and recovery; Umbrella = A multiple scene picture sequence, in which a boy and mother interact about taking an umbrella into the rain; Window = A multiple scene picture sequence, in which a boy kicks a soccer ball through a man’s window, shattering it; Cookie Theft = A description of a single picture, in which two kids steal a cookie; Rockwell = A description of a single picture, which is Norman Rockwell’s “Coming and Going”.
