These heatmaps summarize the association of percent FEV1/FVC ratio and percent predicted ERV in obese asthma (OA) and healthy-weight asthma (HwA) with (a) 20 conserved genes in clusters 0,3, and 8 that were up- or downregulated in OA as compared to other three groups, (b) 27 conserved genes in cluster 12 differentially expressed in OA as compared to the other three groups, and (c) 6 genes that are markers of steroid resistance or inflammasome activation and were differentially expressed in OA as compared to other three groups.
