Development of hyperlipidemia in silkworms fed with 10% glucose diet. Silkworms were fed a normal diet (ND), 10% glucose diet (10GD) for 72 h (n = 5/group), and measured (A) neutral fat in the fat body and (B) in the hemolymph, (C) total sugar in the hemolymph, (D) bombyxin in the hemolymph. Data represent mean ± SD. Significant differences between groups were evaluated using a t-test. ##p < 0.01, #p < 0.05 compared with the ND group.
