SBP was used as the independent variable, with CVD events, myocardial infarction, stroke, and all-cause death as dependent variables in the comorbidity(A、B、C and D) and non-comorbidity(E、F、G and H) groups, respectively, and with a median SBP of 145.33 as the reference. We adjusted for age, sex, BMI, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, hemoglobin, duration of hypertension, smoking, alcohol consumption, and physical activity.There were 11,273 participants.
