Panels a and c show the information content of different parts of certain revenue-stamps and a trade-license. Panel b shows how the related information contents provided in a specific segment of certain tax-stamps can be combined into corresponding segment of another tax-stamp. The USA stamp images shown in a are from Wikimedia Commons. These images are in the public domain because they are works prepared by some officers or employees of the United States Government as part of their official duties under the terms of Title 17, Chapter 1, Section 105 of the US Code. The stamp images of Canada shown in b are from Wikimedia Commons. These images are in the public domain as they were all created more than 90 years before current year, i.e., 2023.
