We denote the power law exponent with α and examine the infection evolution with different power-law exponents. When α = 0, it represents the network’s degree distribution following a uniform distribution. As α increases, the degree distribution of the network becomes increasingly uneven. The colored band shows the 1σ confidence interval of our prediction.
