Overall communication trend of COVID-19-related scientific literature on Twitter (upper) and the evolution of the retweet proportion of subgroups (bottom). We divide all users into 27 subgroups based on the months they engaged with science communication (ranging from 1 month to 27 months). The proportion of retweets describes the relative information flow of the subgroup.
