  1. Salience is the measure of the strength of collocation. In this study, LogDice is used to measure the strength of the collocation. LogDice is not affected by the size of the corpus and can be used to compare scores between different corpora (Gablasova et al. 2017; Rychlý, 2008). The bigger the number, the stronger the association. The maximum value of Log Dice score is 14 and there is no minimum value (Rychlý, 2008). While there is no universal cutoff, a value ≥ 7 is regarded as indicating a strong collocation (Jaworska, 2018).
