A Shows the impact of aging on these two fractions for LS-HFO and B shows the same for MGO. The photochemical age of the aerosol is illustrated by color as seen on the right. C, D illustrate a Van Krevelen plot36,38 with hydrogen to carbon ratio on the y axis and oxygen to carbon ratio on the x axis, showing the chemical composition of the OA: the OA regression line is shown with dotted lines, and the dashed lines highlight the area where ambient aerosol typically fall within.
