Cox Proportional-Hazards analysis for high/low LEP risk and fast/slow emphysema progression in (a) the COPDGene study (n = 3728) and (b) on COPDGene participants with emphysema at baseline higher than 10% (n = 576). The Cox model is adjusted for baseline covariates including FEV1, showing the log(HR) for mortality risk associated with fast progressors and high-risk after adjustment for clinical and demographic factors.
