For each sample, inferred strain frequency of RhCMV UCD52 (blue) or FL-RhCMV (orange) was determined by taking mean of the percent of reads with the nucleotide corresponding to each strain at positions where the two inoculating strains differ. Sample IDs are denoted with “P” = plasma, “AF” = amniotic fluid, # = days post infection, “M” = maternal, and “F” = fetal. Mean indicated by open circle with error bars corresponding to standard error. Black dots represent frequencies at a single SNV.
