HPLC analysis of the AOS/KPR cascade using ThAOS V79A (10 mg mL-1), Gly (32 mM), acetyl-SNAc (32 mM), MAA (32 mM) in HEPES buffer (100 mM, pH 7.5) incubated overnight at 60, 70 and 80 oC. The product pyrrole (1) eluting at 14.2 min, the benzoic acid internal standard (I.S.) at 13.3 min and acetyl-SNAc substrate at 11.9 min are shown.
