Co(1), Co(2), Co(3) and Co(4) correspond to the 4g Wyckoff positions occupied by the cobalt atoms. The label x(y) indicates that the hole occupies the dxz(dyz) orbital of the 3/4-filled dxz/dyz doublet of the corresponding cobalt atom.
