The steps correspond to three dimensions of social-ecological interactions, including (1) harnessing flood resilience thinking to level up adaptative NbS planning for local society and ecosystem; (2) developing comprehensive tools to capture the linked dynamics of social behaviors, human activities and ecological processes in a changing environment, and (3) enhancing collaborative approaches to monitor and manage “win-win” solutions for long-term co-benefits in urban FRM.
