This figure compares the average glucose and insulin responses during an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) for participants who underwent Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) versus those with One-Anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB). It isolates the responses to the glucose intake only to show the specific metabolic differences between the two surgical procedures. Shaded areas represent 95% confidence intervals (CI) derived from n = 1000 simulation samples, which indicate the statistical certainty of the predicted average response curves.
