The manometry data is collected from a high-resolution manometry catheter, containing 36 pressure sensors, that is inserted into the esophagus of a patient. The data is collected for up to 24 hours. The resulting manometry data typically contains more than 1000 swallow events. The full sequence has to be analyzed by medical experts in order to identify all swallow events in the data and analyze the specific details of each swallow event.
