Extended Data Fig. 8: laminar profile of mvPI using another CBV0 value (0.04) and compare the effect of hypertension in mvPI of deep WM.
From: Assessing cerebral microvascular volumetric with high-resolution 4D cerebral blood volume MRI at 7 T

a, The mvPI in deep WM of three groups were compared: healthy young, normotensive older, and hypertensive older. The p-values marked in the figure have not been corrected for multiple testing. Error bars indicate SEM across participants. b, Laminar profile of mvPI cross young (blue) and older (red) participants using CBV0 = 0.04 (same method with Fig. 4a). Compared with the results in the paper, except for the calculated mvPI values, the distribution patterns and statistical results are the same as in the paper. It shows that setting the CBV0 value to a different value will not have a significant impact on our results. Statistical significance was assessed using a two-sided bootstrap test (10,000 resamples). Young n = 11 and older n = 11 independent biological replicates, representing individual human participants, each measured once. Error bars indicate SEM across participants. Bonferroni factor = 9.
