Note: If participants completed the priority evaluator without reaching the emission reduction target, they were prompted with a question that asked whether they want to offset the remaining emissions by buying CO2 certificates at the price per ton specificed in the priority evaluator. This is not a option amongst others and thus not included in the analysis unless specified differently. 14.6% of those who were offered the option to offset (n = 1'280) also chose it (6.1% of the final analytic sample).
