The left image shows all-altitude (FL 260-FL420), color-coded CLZ probability thresholds, with red, yellow, and green corresponding to high, medium, and low probabilities of contrail formation, respectively. The right image shows the forecast for flight level 360, with blue coloring indicating net-cooling contrails and red coloring indicating net-warming contrails. The contrail’s net impact was not considered for the purposes of this trial.
