Regions where greater reactivity was observed in the high discrimination group (n = 50) relative to the low discrimination group (n = 57) are highlighted (colored region); the color bar represents the Z score, with warmer colors indicating higher scores. Comparisons controlled for BMI, sex, age, race, diet and SES. All statistical maps were family-wise error cluster-corrected for multiple comparisons. Cluster level correction: Z > 2.3, P < 0.05. Clusters are listed in Table 2. The numbers located at the top left of each MRI image represent the slices. L, left hemisphere; R, right hemisphere.
