Most psychological measures are used only once or twice, as coded in APA PsycInfo, which has records of tests and measures used in each study. Widely used tests are almost all from clinical psychology. Labelled tests were used more than 10,000 times: PHQ-9 patient health questionnaire-9, RSES Rosenberg self-esteem scale, HADS Hospital anxiety and depression scale, PANSS positive and negative syndrome scale, HAM-D Hamilton rating scale for depression, BDI Beck depression inventory, BDI-II Beck depression inventory-II.
