Correction to: npj Metabolic Health and Disease https://doi.org/10.1038/s44324-024-00042-1, published online 18 December 2024
In the original version of this Article, an incorrect reference 7 was cited. The correct citation is now present. In addition, in the second paragraph of the discussion a misspelled gene acronym was corrected and the sentence “In addition to lowered plasma GSH levels, both approaches led to increased insulin sensitivity” was replaced with “In addition to lowered plasma GSH levels, inhibition of glutathione synthesis led to increased insulin sensitivity”.
The original article has been corrected.
