CDDisease 12th Meeting: "Precision Medicine Symposium"

Nanbanyuan Academy Suzhou | April, 23-24, 2026 | Suzhou, China

The Italy–China Bilateral Conference on Precision Medicine, promoted by Fondazione HEAL Italia in collaboration with CDDpress, will be held on 23–24 April 2026 at the South Half Garden in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. The event represents a significant opportunity for dialogue and collaboration between two leading scientific and healthcare communities at the international level.

At a time when technological innovation and biomedical research are transforming the way
diseases are prevented, diagnosed and treated, precision medicine is establishing itself as one of the fundamental pillars of the future of healthcare. This conference has been conceived with the aim of fostering the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices among experts, researchers and institutions from both countries, promoting strategic synergies in the fields of genomics, artificial intelligence applied to medicine, and personalised therapies.

Italy and China, drawing on their respective scientific excellences and distinct cultural
perspectives, are well positioned to contribute in a complementary manner to the development of innovative, patient-centred solutions. Precision medicine indeed represents both a scientific and a cultural commitment to the future of healthcare — one that places the person at its centre, addressing in a personalised manner every factor that influences health, rather than limiting its scope to the treatment of disease alone.

We are, in fact, witnessing a transition from medicine designed "for everyone" to medicine
designed "for each individual" - a model in which clinical decisions are guided by a deep
understanding of the patient's biological profile, through the structured integration of omic,
clinical, environmental and digital data. These approaches will need to be durably embedded in everyday clinical practice, with the goal of building diagnostic and therapeutic pathways tailored to the individual characteristics of each patient, moving beyond the uniformity of the traditional model.

The transition towards this innovative paradigm will not only significantly improve clinical outcomes, but will also provide concrete responses to contemporary healthcare and social challenges, such as population ageing and the growing complexity of care needs.
On 23 and 24 April 2026, through thematic sessions and structured exchanges, the conference aims not only to explore the most recent developments in precision medicine, but also to strengthen the bonds of international cooperation, laying the groundwork for future collaboration in both clinical and research settings.

Preliminary Programme

Registration opens (Wednesday 22nd April)

Program, additional details and timing is subject to change.

This event will be a unique opportunity to discuss multiple facets of host-cancer co-evolution, its role in immunity and neurodegeneration, as well as the distinct modalities of cell death. This exclusive meeting includes several luminary scientists in our field, and emphasizes informal discussions of ideas about how to advance our battle against disease.

It is sponsored partly by Heal Italia, and by CDDpress.
