This collection supports and amplifies research related to SDG 2 - Zero Hunger, and SDG 13 - Climate Action.

Sustainable agricultural practices encompass a range of strategies designed to enhance soil health, improve water conservation, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining agricultural productivity. Sustainable practices are essential for addressing the multifaceted challenges posed by climate change, food security, and environmental degradation. Understanding the dynamics of sustainable agriculture is critical for informing policy decisions and fostering a transition toward more responsible land use and management practices.

In this cross-journal collection we focus on current research to optimize resource use and enhance ecosystem services. This includes, but is not limited to, exploring methods for carbon capture in agricultural soils, application of precision farming technologies, crop diversification, agroforestry, and restoration practices to improve soil health and enhance biodiversity.

In recognition of the importance of this research in UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 13, this collection welcomes research that contributes to the development and implementation of effective agricultural strategies.
