The editors of Nature Communications, Nature Immunology, Communications Biology, and Scientific Reports invite submissions of primary research articles dissecting crosstalk between innate memory cells and tissue resident adaptive immune cells in the molecular, cellular and function levels.

With this cross-journal Collection, the editors at Nature Communications, Communications Biology and Scientific Reports invite manuscripts that highlight how epigenetics shapes plant development, stress responses and adaptation. We also welcome studies developing and utilizing advanced technologies such as epigenomic mapping, single cell epigenomics, and multi-omics approaches to provide insights into plant epigenetic mechanisms.

The editor invite submissions of original biological and clinical research focusing on the finely-tuned control of non-immune and immune cell death, the coordinated regulation of programmed cell death and the resulted immune response in health and disease, and the selective targeting of cell death regulatory molecules as a therapeutic solution for chronic inflammatory disorders.

This collection will highlight studies that uncover the mechanisms of light signal transduction and harness these discoveries to address challenges in food security and climate change.
