Ege Can Serefoglu, MD, Biruni University School of Medicine, Turkey
Ege Can Serefoglu received his Medical Doctor degree from Turkey and followed this with a residency in urology. After practicing as a urologist for 2 years, he has then worked as a post-doctorate research fellow at Tulane University Department of Urology, Division of Andrology, USA. He received the “Amsterdam Young Scientist Award” in 2012 and he is actively working in professional organizations such as Turkish Association of Urology, European Association of Urology (EAU), European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM), as well as working as a private urologist in Turkey.

Marco Falcone, MD, Molinette Hospital and USU/CTO Hospital, University of Turin, Italy
Dr. Falcone has been involved since his early medical studies in basic and clinical research in the field of sexual medicine. Particularly, his interest is focused on andrology and reconstructive genital surgery. After graduation, he completed the urology training in Molinette Hospital, Torino (Italy). In 2015 he was trained as a clinical fellow at St. Peter's Andrology Center and the Institute of Urology - University College of London Hospital in London (UK). He had a full training in microsurgery, developing the necessary surgical skills to perform complex penile reconstruction (phalloplasty) in both gender and genetic male patients. Over the years he developed a wide clinical and surgical experience in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease and penile cancer. Dr. Falcone is a consultant at “SC Urologia U - Molinette Hospital” and “SC Neurourologia - USU/CTO Hospital” - AOU “Città della Salute e della Scienza”- University of Turin, Italy. He received a Ph.D. on bio-engineer and surgical sciences at the Politecnico of Turin (Italy). He is an active member of YAU (Young Academic Urologist) and an associate member EAU guidelines panel “Sexual and reproductive health”.
Dr. Falcone's scientific profile is internationally acknowledged by his many contributions to international congresses and scientific publications in high profile peer-reviewed journals.

Luca Boeri, MD, Foundation IRCCS Ca' Granda Policlinico Hospital, Milan, Italy

Luca Boeri is a Urologist and Andrology at Foundation IRCCS Ca’ Granda, Policlinico Hospital of Milan, Italy. In November 2019 he started his PhD program in Clinical Research at University of Milan focusing on couple’s infertility, genetics and immunology. He received his medical degree at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy, in 2014.
During his residency program he attended a visiting fellowship at University College London Hospital (Prof. David Ralph), UK, and he also completed a research fellowship at Mayo Clinic (Mentor Dr. R. Jeffrey Karnes), Rochester, USA, where he attended a one-year advanced statistics course.
Since 2014 he continued a successful collaboration with the Urological Research Institute-URI of Milan under the guide of Prof. Montorsi and Prof. Salonia. His specialty areas include sexual medicine, infertility, uro-oncology and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He is an active member of the Italian Society of Andrology where he is part of the WEB group. He is now member of the EAU Guideline Panel on Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Simone Cilio, MD, U.O.C. Clinica Urologica, A.O.U. San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d'Aragona "Scuola Medica Salernitana", Salerno, Italy
Simone Cilio is a urologist and andrologist at the University Hospital of Salerno, Italy. He gained his residency in Urology at the University of Naples “Federico II”. During this period, he visited the San Raffaele Hospital (Milan, Italy) as a research fellow under the renowned Professor Andrea Salonia, and the University Hospital “Sao Joao” in Porto (Porto, Portugal) as a surgical researcher in andrology and general urology under the supervision of both the esteemed Dr. Afonso Morgado and Professor Nuno Tomada.
Nowadays, he works as a urologist in Salerno, dedicating his activity to general urology, male fertility and the resolution of male sexual dysfunctions.
Continuing his scientific collaborations with San Raffaele and São João hospitals, he is actively involved in male sexual health research and has initiated several important collaborations nationally and internationally. Finally, he was rewarded with the citation of two of his scientific papers in the European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines on “Sexual and Reproductive Health”.
Murat Gul, MD, Selcuk University School of Medicine, Turkey
Murat Gul received his Medical Doctor degree from Turkey and finished his urology residency at the same university. After working as a urologist for 3 years, he started his post-doctorate andrology fellowship program at Copenhagen University, Juliane Marie Centre for Women, Children and Reproduction, Laboratory of Reproductive Biology. Then he started his new position as an Assistant Professor at Selcuk University, Department of Urology. Alongside his position at university, he has been an associate member of the EAU Guidelines Panel on Sexual and Reproductive Health since 2019. He also serves as a member of EAU-YAU Men's Health Working Group and ESSM New Technologies and Sexual Function Committee. His scientific and clinical areas of interest are male infertility and male sexual dysfunctions.
Kareim M. Khalafalla, MD, MBBCh, CABU, FECSM, Hamad Medical Corporation & Qatar University, Doha, Qatar
Dr Kareim Khalafalla is a Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at Qatar University and a urologist subspecialized in andrology and male infertility at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, where he serves on the faculty of the ACGME-I-accredited Urology Residency Program. His clinical focus is male reproductive and sexual medicine, with particular expertise in microsurgical infertility and penile prosthetic surgery. He completed advanced fellowships in Andrology (University of Illinois, Chicago, USA) and in Sexual Medicine & Prosthetic Surgery (UTHealth McGovern Medical School and MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, USA) and is a Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medical (FECSM).
Dr Khalafalla is active in international professional societies, including the ISSM Future Leaders Program and the ISSM Education Committee of the Middle East Society of Sexual Medicine. He has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and scientific abstracts, and regularly delivers invited lectures and workshops worldwide, contributing significantly to global education in andrology and men's health. His clinical and research interests include erectile dysfunction, penile prosthetics, Peyronie's disease and male infertility.
Afonso Morgado, MD, FECSM, University Hospital Center of São João, Portugal
Afonso Morgado currently holds the position of Head of the Andrology Unit at Centro Hospitalar Universitário São João in Portugal. His involvement in the field of Sexual Medicine commenced after he graduated from the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto. Following his graduation, he completed his urology residency at Centro Hospitalar Universitário São João under the guidance of the renowned Prof. Dr. Nuno Tomada. Presently, Afonso Morgado is in the final stages of completing his PhD at Universidade do Porto, focusing his research on Male Hypogonadism and Erectile Dysfunction. Over time, he has gained extensive clinical and surgical experience, specializing in the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, Prostate Cancer, and symptomatic Benign Prostate Hyperplasia.
Afonso Morgado's contributions extend beyond his medical endeavors. He is a member of the Young Academic Urologists (YAU) an associated member of the European Association of Urology (EAU) guidelines panel for "Sexual and Reproductive Health," reflecting his commitment to shaping and advancing the standards in his area of expertise. With a modest and dedicated approach, Afonso Morgado continues to contribute significantly to the fields of Andrology and Sexual Medicine, enhancing the standards of care and knowledge in these domains.
Edoardo Pozzi, MD, Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milan, Italy
Edoardo Pozzi holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery in English obtained with honors and honorable mention at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. He is concluding his Urology residency at the same institution. Dr. Pozzi completed a research andrology fellowship at University College London Hospital in the UK and is presently a fellow in andrology at the University of Miami, Desai Sethi Urology Institute in the USA. He is actively involved in several committees, including the ISSM Young Researcher Committee of the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM), the New Regenerative Interventions and Treatment Targets in Sexual Medicine Committee of the International Consultation on Sexual Medicine (ICSM), the scientific committee of the Italian Society of Andrology (SIA), and the basic science committee of the European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM). Additionally, Dr. Pozzi serves as a reviewer for important journals within the urological field.
He has a significant number of scientific publications and book chapters in the fielf of uro-andrology (accessible here).
Dr. Pozzi's main interests are: male infertility, sexual dysfunctions (erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, Peyronie’s disease), penile implant surgery, male hypogonadism, testicular and penile cancer.

Liliana Guadagni, MD, University of Perugia, Italy
Liliana Guadagni, MD received her medical degree from the University of Naples "Federico II" (Italy) and completed her residency in Urology at the University of Perugia (Italy). She spent the last year of her Urology residency in Turin for advanced training in andrology and reconstructive urology, with a focus on complex genital reconstruction. Dr Guadagni has authored publications across multiple domains of urology and sexual medicine, including original research articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and contributions to clinical guidelines and consensus documents. She has also participated in the develpoment of diagnostic-theraputic care pathways (PDTA) and health technology assessment (HTA) initiatives. Her main clinical and research interests include genital gender-affirming surgery, clinical outcomes research, and reconstructive urology.
