He, Ongwae, and colleagues show that flow cytometry provides a high-throughput, solution-based platform for analysing the behavior of biomolecular condensates at the single-droplet level. Using this approach, the authors quantify condensate formation and track molecular exchange in real-time, and they reveal that condensate aging reduces molecular dynamisms.
