Direct evidence for the absence of coupling between shear strain and superconductivity in Sr₂RuO₄

The authors study Sr₂RuO₄ under shear strain, finding that shear strain has little to no coupling to superconductivity. These results suggest a one-component superconducting order parameter in Sr₂RuO₄.

Superconductivity in the antiperovskite Dirac-metal oxide Sr_3−xSnO

Superconductivity has not been observed in any antiperovskite oxide up to now. Here Oudahet al. report superconducting transition around 5 K in antiperovskite oxide Sr_3−xSnO, making it a new class of oxide superconductors.
