The development of soluble Notch agonists is a challenge because of the mechanical forces needed to activate Notch receptors. Here, bispecific Notch agonist proteins were designed that ‘pull’ on and activate Notch receptors in the presence of desired biomarkers.

Fucosylation of HLA-DRB1 regulates CD4⁺ T cell-mediated anti-melanoma immunity and enhances immunotherapy efficacy

Lau and colleagues show that the dietary addition of the sugar l-fucose enhances immunotherapy response in melanoma models. This is mediated via the fucosylation and cell surface enrichment of HLA-DRB1 and induction of anti-tumor immunity.
