Recent advancements in deep learning and machine learning have introduced innovative approaches for both damage detection and material performance prediction in reinforced concrete structures. This paper reviews the current research status of their application in the durability of reinforced concrete structures, focusing on two main areas: intelligent damage detection and predictive modelling of material durability.
