Eosinophils contribute to type 2 immunity, but their interaction with neutrophils in this context is incompletely understood. Here the authors use mouse asthma models and in vitro culture to show that eosinophil-specific deficiency of GPR43 promotes Siglec-Fhi neutrophil differentiation and downstream induction of Th17 to aggravate lung inflammation and asthma.
