Ampere-level electroconversion of acetylene towards polymer grade ethylene via Pd-H mediated non-spillover hydrogenation

The electrochemical semi-hydrogenation of C₂H₂ to C₂H₂ is a promising process, but the competing hydrogen evolution reaction remains a major obstacle. This work presents a novel catalytic strategy to steer active hydrogen species, thereby improving the Faradaic efficiency for ethylene.

General negative pressure annealing approach for creating ultra-high-loading single atom catalyst libraries

High-density single atom catalysts are crucial for improving catalytic performance but achieving metal contents above 10 wt% is challenging.
