A flexible digital artificial intelligence chip with a compute-in-memory architecture is fabricated using a commercial low-temperature polycrystalline silicon thin-film transistor process and shows high accuracy in human daily activity monitoring using multimodal physiological signals.

Strain engineering is promising for improving catalytic capability of biocatalysts, but it is challenging to modify the atomic-scale strain for specific enzyme-like reactions. Cost-effective strategies for completing the interactome

Different experimental designs for protein interaction mapping are modeled to compare their efficiency in completing an interactome map. Corvaisier et al discover that γ-tubulin and replication protein PCNA forms a complex and that this facilitates recruitment of PCNA to chromatin both during cell division and during the DSB repair response. They identify a PCNA binding motif in γ-tubulin, which when mutated affects replication fork progression, providing insights into the role of the nuclear γ-tubulin meshwork.

Synthesis of a fire-retardant and high T_g biobased polyester from 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid

The biobased, rigid, and fire-retardant monomer (BDBE) was synthesized and employed in furanic polyester (PECBFs) preparation. The T_g of PECBFs increased up to 95 °C when BDBE content reached 25%. In combustion test, the samples self-extinguished immediately when BDBE content are more than 15%. The obtained copolyesters were expected to be applicated in the fields of firefighting materials and electronics.
