Convenient methods for the extraction, detection and quantification of antibiotics are paramount to water quality control. Here, the authors report the optimization of an extraction procedure followed by an ultra-performance liquid chromatography method for the simultaneous analysis of several veterinary antibiotics in environmental water samples.
