The effect of TPOAb on pregnancy outcomes among people with polycystic ovary syndrome with euthyroidism undergoing in vitro fertilization

Liu et al. explore the impact of TPOAb levels on embryologic and pregnancy outcomes in euthyroid PCOS patients undergoing IVF/ICSI. They find no association between TPOAb positivity and adverse reproductive outcomes, suggesting that its clinical relevance may be limited.

Toward an understanding of the intrinsic kidney response to acute injury

Kidneys are highly susceptible to acute injury. Several studies in 2025 revealed insights into mechanisms of protection and susceptibility — including sex-specific mechanisms of protection against ferroptosis, mechanisms of impaired resilience imparted by mitochondrial DNA mutations, and a role for tRNA-Asp-GTC-3′tDR in RNA autophagy — that provide new directions for diagnostic tools and therapies for acute kidney injury.

Enantioselective Rhodium-Catalyzed Cycloisomerization of 1,6-Allenynes to access 5/6-Fused Bicycle[4.3.0]nonadienes

Cycloisomerization of 1,n-allenynes allows to efficiently assembly polycyclic skeletons, however its asymmetric variant remains elusive. Here, the authors report the enantioselective Rh(I)-catalyzed cycloisomerization of 1,6-allenynes and disclose an uncommon 5-exo-dig pathway via DFT calculations.
