Parity-time (PT) symmetric systems with balanced gain and loss can exhibit nonreciprocal transmission, but its high insertion loss in the broken phase poses a challenge. This work demonstrates electrically tunable nonreciprocal transmission in PT-symmetric silicon micromechanical resonators operating in the exact phase, achieving non-reciprocity with low insertion loss.
