In-situ low-temperature sulfur CVD on metal sulfides with SO₂ to realize self-sustained adsorption of mercury

Efficient removal of gaseous mercury (Hg⁰) from industrial flue gas is commonly constrained by SO₂. Here, authors propose an in-situ sulfur CVD method on metal sulfides that reverses the harmful effects of SO₂, achieving self-sustained adsorption of Hg⁰ and breaking the capacity limitations.
