Ferroelectrically switched valley-dependent transmission in SnTe-PbTe-SnTe monolayer lateral heterostructures

Nanometer-wide lateral heterostructures between 2D semiconductors are still rare. Here the authors report the valley-selective hole state transmission between ferroelectric SnTe monolayers separated by a PbTe barrier with the width of merely 2 nm.
