NMR spectroscopy’s limitations in detecting low-concentration molecules in biofluids hinder its diagnostic potential. Here, the authors demonstrate that steady-state photo-CIDNP, combined with spiking and biofluid dilution methods, effectively quantifies drugs like sumatriptan and paracetamol in urine with the LOQs in complex matrices down to 3.5 µM.
