mlExisting nanoparticle-stabilized Pickering emulsions have several drawbacks, such as reactant diffusion, particle leaching, incompatible reaction environments and poor catalyst recovery. To overcome those limitations, the authors design a droplet-based reactor using egg white nanogel particles and a stimulus-responsive surfactant at low concentration, which enables one-pot synthesis of benzothiazoles and benzoxazole in high yield, in situ product separation and catalyst recovery.
