Recent work introduced pseudorandom quantum states, indistinguishable from truly random states by any polynomial-time algorithm. Here the authors propose pseudochaotic many-body dynamics, which is indistinguishable from chaotic dynamics and can generate pseudorandom states using polylogarithmic-depth circuits.
