In our study, we found that in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues, MCM2 expression was highly correlated with YAP expression, and that MCM2 interference inhibited the Hippo signaling pathway by blocking YAP entry into the nucleus, thereby increasing cellular resistance to sorafenib.
