Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is linked to the activation of the cGAS-STING pathway. Here, the authors demonstrate that RUNX1-mediated upregulation of RBM47 enhances cGAS-STING signaling and neuronal ferroptosis, suggesting a potential therapeutic approach for POCD.
