Multifunctional integrated electrochromic device by p-n conductive polymers for self-powered smart windows and miniaturized spectrometers

Electrochromic devices offer dynamic modulation of light and heat but suffer from limited color tunability, sluggish switching speeds, and low coloration efficiency, especially in inorganic electrochromic materials, which impede their widespread adoption. Here, the authors show a complementary organic electrochromic device that employs dual conductive polymers and overcomes these limitations.

Activation of melanocortin-1 receptor signaling in melanoma cells impairs T cell infiltration to dampen antitumor immunity

Aberrant G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling has been associated with tumor progression and metastasis. Here the authors show that depletion of the GPCR melanocortin-1 receptor (MC1R) in melanoma cells is associated with enhanced T cell infiltration and anti-tumor immune responses.
