Mutation of CMTR2 in Lung Adenocarcinoma Alters RNA Alternative Splicing and Reveals Therapeutic Vulnerabilities

RNA splicing dysregulation is a hallmark of cancer but remains poorly understood in solid tumors. Here, the authors map splicing patterns in lung adenocarcinoma, uncover a CMTR2-mutant subtype, and show its vulnerability to splicing modulators and immunotherapy.

Phosphate starvation response precedes abscisic acid response under progressive mild drought in plants

Even mild drought impacts crop production significantly. Here, the authors develop an experimental mild drought system induced by ridges in the field and find that phosphate starvation response occurs before ABA response in early mild drought.

Combination of T cell-redirecting bispecific antibody ERY974 and chemotherapy reciprocally enhances efficacy against non-inflamed tumours

T-cell redirecting bispecific antibodies have emerged as therapeutic agents to promote T-cell mediated killing of tumor cells. Here the authors show that a combination of chemotherapy and ERY974, a bispecific antibody that targets glypican-3 and CD3, facilitates T cell infiltration and promotes anti-tumor responses also in non-inflamed tumors.

Here, we present cellulose nanofiber sheets which capture EVs with high purity from trace volumes of biofluids and enable analysis of location-dependent heterogeneity to enhance understanding of pathological mechanisms and enable diagnostic readouts.
