Photocurable polymers used in the 3D printing of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) typically suffer from issues with flammability. Here, a bio-based thermoset resin is used in the fabrication of a TENG with flame retardancy and resistance to thermal radiation, achieving 8 V output at 3 Hz over 15,000 cycles.
