Toroidal topologies and helicity are fundamental in topological photonics, yet their interplay in electromagnetic excitations remains underexplored. Here, the authors introduce a theoretical and experimental framework for generating toroidal helical pulses, paving the way for advanced applications in light-matter interactions and data transfer through controllable helicity and non-transverse topology.
