Yttrium oxide engineered substrate enables improved durability for perovskite solar cells

The impact of fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) on device longevity has been overlooked. Here, the authors employ thermal evaporated yttrium oxide to strengthen structural stability of FTO, achieving maximum efficiency of 26.48% and 28.47% in regular and all-perovskite tandem structures, respectively.

Universal in situ oxide-based ABX₃-structured seeds for templating halide perovskite growth in All-perovskite tandems

Suppressing wide-angle light loss and non-radiative recombination for efficient perovskite solar cells

The incorporation of fluorine-doped tin oxide nanoplatelets on the substrate of perovskite solar cells contributes to uniform light harvesting across different incidence angles of sunlight. The best devices show a power conversion efficiency of 26.4% (certified 25.9%), 95% of which is maintained after 1,200 hours of operation.

Double Majorana vortex flat bands in the topological Dirac superconductor

In strongly correlated Dirac semimetals, orbital-singlet, spin-triplet superconducting pairing becomes possible. In this work, the authors predict doubly robust Majorana flat bands bound to the vortex line: confined between the projected nodes in type-I Dirac semimetals and spanning the entire one-dimensional Brillouin zone in type-II Dirac semimetals.
