Most Eastern China basalts originate or re-equilibrate with the lithospheric mantle, except for Wudalianchi and Nuominhe basalts, which originate from asthenospheric or lithosphere-asthenosphere transition sources, according to analysis of thermodynamic modeling, radiogenic isotopes, and seismic tomography.
